Week 5

Did a recap on WBS (work-based structure) and AON (activity-on-node) and Gantt chart for our lecture :) This was from last year module - Project Management.

For Tutorial class, we used mindmeister, a website for us to draw mind maps.

A sample using "Build a Building" as our topic.

Lastly, we had to draw our own mind map using "Fashion Show" as our topic. :) inserted pictures to add more "feel" to the mind map.

Week 4

We were taught CP codes last week, so we have to apply them to our drawings this week. Quite a hassle for us as we did not bring the notes and results researched online were lacking in details. But still manageable.

Week 3

We were introduced to CP 27-1999 used for floor plan development and how to apply to drawings.

For lab session, we have to use Autocad Freestyle to draw out what we had sketched last week. Finally its time for us to apply what we had learn in our first year, although it is somewhat different but similar. :)

Week 2

Space planning and Criteria matrix.

Using fashion show as our event, we were told to do up a layout for the event.

A pretty easy topic to do. Able to use our creativity to plan the layout.

Week 1

We formed groups by drawing lots, so i ended up in the same group as Desmond, Bi Nuan and Chao yen.

First tutorial - Brainstorming for a event we want to plan for. After much discussion, we chose anti-terrorism as our topic. We originally wanted "Go Green". But we soon realise that almost all the groups are doing the same topic as us.

Created a short presentation/idea for our topic using Microsoft Powerpoint.
